Where are you based – and do you travel for photography?
I’m based in Wiesbaden, Germany.
And whether I travel for photography or photograph while traveling… that’s up for debate. Probably both.
How do you choose the locations you photograph?
When I travel, I plan my locations in advance – guided by light, weather and time of year. But once I’m there, it’s mostly intuition that leads the way.
I look for places that invite stillness, where something quiet is happening beneath the surface. Sometimes that means remote landscapes – sometimes just a short walk from home.
What role does light play in your work?
Light is everything. It shapes mood, reveals texture, creates presence. I often revisit places just to see how light changes them – sometimes, that shift is the story.
Can I buy your prints?
Please feel free to reach out – we can make something work.
Instead of payment, I simply ask for a donation to the Well:Fair Foundation. Your support helps fund clean water projects in regions like Tanzania – a cause that’s very close to my heart.
Tell me more about your yearly calendar charity project.
Every year, I create a photographic calendar featuring atmospheric landscape images – a quiet companion through the seasons.
It’s more than just a calendar, though. In exchange, I ask for a donation to the Well:Fair Foundation, which supports clean water projects in places like Tanzania.
Thanks to past supporters, we’ve helped fund a well that will soon provided clean water to over 150 people. If you’d like to be part of the next edition, just reach out. I’d be happy to keep you in the loop.
What’s the best way to stay updated on your work?
I try (and sometimes struggle) to keep my Instagram updated.
If you want to stay in touch about future prints, workshops or the calendar project, feel free to write me directly.
